Registration

Registration will open on 1 May 2024.

General information

  • Registration is required for all participants and attendees.
  • The conference fee includes the conference pack, all coffee breaks, lunches and welcome reception on 8th July. It does not include the conference dinner on 9th July (see below) or accommodation arrangements.
  • Conference registration and payment is arranged by card, Bizum, GooglePay or bank transfer via UVigo’s Bubela platform.
  • Dates and fees:
    • Early-bird registration (1 May – 31 May): 100 EUR
    • Late registration (1-30 June): 120 EUR
    • Conference dinner: 35 EUR
  • Conference registration and conference-dinner registration are not possible after 30 June.

Payment certificates

The University of Vigo does not issue invoices of conference fees. Instead, the accounting department of the University (Universidade de Vigo, CIF/Tax no. Q8650002B) will issue official payment certificates to participants or institutions that have transferred the fees or have paid by credit card. If you need a certificate, please send an email to gibraltarintconference2@uvigo.gal and provide details about your registration.

Registration process for all attendants/participants/accompanying visitors:

Step 1. Creating users in the registration platform Bubela
All attendants/participants (even accompanying visitors joining the conference dinner) need to register on the platform Bubela, UVigo’s conference-registration platform.

To create a user name on Bubela:
1. Click on https://bubela.uvigo.es/bubela/publico/publico.php?funcion=alta_usuario&lang=en
2. Type your (First) Name and Surname
3. Select as Document type ‘Identity card or Passport’ and type your Document (i.e. Identity-card/Passport) number
4. Select Nationality
5. Select Gender
6. Type E-mail address
7. (Highly recommended) Type your Phone number (please add country code)
8. Suggest your Username (6-to-15 characters)
9. Type your Password for this platform

Now you are a user on Bubela.

Step 2. Registration
1. Sign in Bubela again: https://bubela.uvigo.es/bubela/publico/publico.php?lang=en
2. Visit the conference page on Bubela: https://bubela.uvigo.es/curso/gic2
3. Click on Register



4. Here you need to provide additional information about your institution, attendance, attendance to social events, etc.
5. Registration fees. Select one of these options:


6. Click on OK. You will get the message “If you continue, a card transaction amounting to xxx€ will be generated”. [xxx stands for the amount you owe.]
7. Independently of whether you will pay by credit card, Bizum or by bank transfer, click on CONTINUE, so that the registration process can be completed.

9. Now:

  • Click on PAYMENT BY CARD if you want to pay by credit card, Bizum or GooglePay (preferred option for us), type Card owner’s name and select Pay. Then you will leave the Bubela platform and will connect to our bank’s (Abanca) payment gateway.
  • Click on CANCEL ENROLMENT if you do NOT want to pay by credit card, Bizum or GooglePay but by bank transfer (dispreferred option for us). Only if you cannot pay with your credit card, Bizum or GooglePay, you can transfer the fees to our bank.
    These are the details:

Cancellation policy

If you wish to cancel your registration, please contact the conference organisers (gibraltarintconference2@uvigo.gal). It will not be possible to accept cancelations after 30 June.
